Compressor Heads vary markedly from regular Cylinder Heads, in that they should obviously never experience a combustion event, there is no "fuel" present, and the valve timing is quite different. In other respects they have similarities in the need for lubrication, cooling, and the proper handling of the air (or other gas) flow.
